Series TA-FTI (In-line)

Tunstall Corp. produces a full line of Float & Thermostatic Steam Traps containing a float valve mechanism which modulates to discharge condensate continuously, while non-condensable gases are released by a separate internal balanced pressure thermostatic air vent (The Tunstall Capsule).

Available in sizes 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″ and 2″ and PSI 15, 30, 75 and 125. All Tunstall float and thermostatic traps can be serviced without disturbing system piping.

• In-line piping design provides complete drainage while minimizing vertical height change.
• Ideal for overhead applications.
• For commercial and industrial applications such as air make-up coils, cooking kettles and unit heaters.
• Below condensate level seat design prevents steam leakage.
• Stainless steel internal components.
• Designed for In-line repair.
• Rugged thermostatic element eliminates air binding.
• Resistant to water hammer and corrosion.
• Maximum design pressure 250 psig (17.3 bar).
• Maximum operating pressure 175 psig (12.1 bar).
• Maximum temperature 406°F (208°C).

Tunstall float and thermostatic traps feature all stainless steel interiors, heavy duty trap housings, easy access to internal parts and convenient piping connections.
